CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF 20th OPEN "ELITE" KENPO TOURNAMENT!
March 23, 2014 in St.Petersburg was conducted 20th OPEN "ELITE" KENPO TOURNAMENT under ALL-RUSSIAN REAL COMBAT ASSOCIATION - SIN JUTSU KENPO KAI as IRCA division in Russia. This KENPO TOURNAMENT was a jubilee because twenty years ago, in February 1995, for the first time in Russia, we conducted first KENPO TOURNAMENT on JIYU KENPO KUMITE as the most stringent rules. In those days there not existed such a thing as MMA (or Mixed Martial Arts), and two years earlier, in the U.S.A. started the first UFC ( Ultimate Fighting Championship ) among professionals so the same rules. But there, in the U.S.A. fighted brutal men who have enough experience fighting by the way considerable fees, and here we have modest boys and girls from St.Petersburg who fighting for the right to be called the best of the best in REAL COMBAT in Russia. Now it has become a history. And now everyone know that in the history of the REAL COMBAT in Russia our page was the first !
By the way, all fights at 20th OPEN "ELITE" KENPO TOURNAMENT were held in four age divisions are 8 - 9 yrs, 10 - 11 yrs, 12 - 13 yrs and 18 yrs + , and in five weight classes, respectively. In KENPO TOURNAMENT was attended by 30 men from five national teams. In KENPO-KAKUTO ( "bloody fights" from Japanese language ) fought KENPO-kas from SIN JUTSU KENPO KAI ( North-West Federal District ) with fighters from SEN RYU KEMPO KAN, OKINAWA GOJU-RYU KARATE ( St. Petersburg Branch), MMA Club "Palmira" also Victor Timofeyev’s Fencing School. In those twenty years, our OPEN "ELITE" KENPO TOURNAMENTS, which take place in St.Petersburg, still waiting on its tatami all who are willing to test their fighting spirit and prove his worth in REAL COMBAT!
